Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Davis has more than two decades of experience working with numerous high-profile, ultra-high-net-worth individuals entertainment industry icons, as well as multi-national corporations and their CEOs and Boards of Director. He is a highly effective strategist who has successfully overseen multiple crisis situations, complex business issues, and countless finance and political communications challenges—many of which often required long term strategies to handle both the immediate situation and address the underlying causes to eliminate reoccurrences. He draws on his background as a proven and effective communicator both in front of and behind the camera and is highly regarded in the communications industry with media relationships that span decades across the world’s most powerful media outlets. He is known for his unflinching and vociferous defense of his clients while earning the respect of those he finds his clients in the crosshairs of. Many of the matters he handled to the best result are the ones no one ever heard about.

Co-Founder and Head of Global Strategy and Intelligence
Mr. Swan has over 40 years of senior level experience in strategic planning, crisis and risk management, and intelligence gathering. Mr. Swan oversees overall implementation of intelligence gathering, data assessment and strategic initiatives on behalf of the firm. Mr. Swan works with clients to create tailored crisis management strategies and programs designed to advance their crisis and risk management abilities. He also directs our Red-Blue Team program that helps our clients better protect themselves from hostile attack by knowing and isolating risks before they can be used by adversaries. Before joining the predecessor to Davis Swan, Rob held senior crisis and risk management positions within national and international organizations working alongside different national governmental departments.

For 30 years, Mr. Herrington has partnered with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to address, resolve, and develop systems to avoid, complex cross-border legal challenges. He has accomplished this by leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve extraordinary results and satisfy the most demanding clients.
Most recently, he was a Partner at Paul Hastings LLP. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Steptoe & Johnson LLP. He began his career at Williams & Connolly LLP. Mr. Herrington is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
Mr. Herrington has been recognized by Chambers USA as a leading practitioner representing individuals and institutions in complex multi-jurisdiction enforcement matters. He has been called out in national publications for “clever” and groundbreaking tactics and initiatives; developing sustainable governance solutions geared to reducing corruption risk and enhancing civil society in host communities and countries for multiple for- and no-profit organizations; extensive board and senior executive counseling; developing the Transparent Lending Principles, a public-disclosure-based methodology for ensuring that both lenders and the citizenry of borrowers are aware of sovereign debt taken on by fragile sovereigns; jury trials of major trade secret and professional liability issues; having prevailed in a criminal trial held in the Princely Court of First Instance in Vaduz, Liechtenstein; and handled numerous Congressional investigations and serving as press-facing resource for clients.
After graduating from Syracuse University with a B.A. in 1989 with Honors as the 1989 Syracuse Scholar, he graduated from Yale Law School, J.D. in 1993 where he was the Managing Editor of The Yale Law Review.

He works with our clients to provide threat-led cyber security risk assessments and designing risk modelling and threat seeking capabilities in coordination with current industry cyber frameworks. Rick Drury’s most recent engagement included head of Cyber Security for a large branch of the British Government.
